Hi Andy, my name is Grace. I visited your blog after reading an article published on Sunday Telegraph on 23 Feb, 2014. Your journey of finding the real you was more than just an inspiring story. I was deeply moved by your courage, and would like to thank you so much for having the courage to stand up, and share your story.
ReplyDeleteI have some gay and transgender friends and thought I fully understood them. After reading your article, I realised that I didn't truly understand them. I was just acting like I did. Once again, I am so grateful that now I finally have more understanding of what it is like to be in different body from your identity.
I personally volunteer as a translator in a blog called MITR (mitr.tistory.com) which is specifically delivering international LGBTIQ news to South Korean readers. There are four translator activists who translate relevant articles from Russian, Japanese, Chinese and English-speaking media. Luckily, we were granted a right to translate articles from various websites, magazines and newspapers.
After reading your story, I became eager to share your story with our blog readers so they could have a similarly enlightening experience like me.
